Hello all, how art everyone? So my week has been great, I've been learning so many awesome lessons and been teaching them too. The people here are wonderful, so is my companion, he's a real stud muffin! I love this work with all of my heart. I have several awesome experiences to share although I forgot them. I appreciate all of your love and support with all of my heart, it might comfort you to know that the people of Utah love missionaries. They love them with all their heart! Let's just say that people like paying for us.
Oh wait I remember the experiences now, so this past week a few really cool things have happened. To start we were knocking doors for people who are in the ward but were not baptized, when a young man answered, and we asked if he was interested in the Gospel. He said yes, and then we asked what he thought about baptism. He said, oh yeah I want to be baptized, I want to make promises with Jesus. So that was really cool, he's a great young man, we're very excited to teach him. Then when we were driving down the road we saw a woman with suitcases on the sidewalk. We pulled over into a church parking lot (because there's like 1000 of them on each block here,) got out and ran over to help her. Long story short we gave her and her friend blessings and now they want us back to teach them. It was a really cool experience, a great learning lesson!!
Also we're giving talks in church on the 27th. So I'll make sure and try to email you all a copy.
I'd like to leave you all with a commitment before I go, if you could all read my favorite scripture, (Mosiah 2:41)and then make a list of things (sins) that you can give up to come closer to Christ, then for 40 days abstain from everything on that list! I promise you that as you do this you will be blessed. Your family life will improve, God will grant you the blessings he has up in heaven. You'll find advice in the scriptures that you've never seen before, and you'll be happier and more confident than ever! Alrighty all. I love you soooo much and I hope to see you again, in like two years.
With fantastic love,
Elder Minson
