Week 40- A busy week

Dear everyone:
This week has been absolutely fantastic, my new companion is Elder Christensen. This transfer is going to be a blast, it already has been. It started out fantastic, because we got a flat tire yeah. It
was groovy. Luckily we live in Utah and everybody loves the missionaries, so like 10 people tried to stop and help us. Although we know how to change a tire LOL. We had a lesson right after with a man named George Ingram, he's awesome. He was apparently a famous picture taker for world news or something, and he invented several things like Strahl wrappers.

But anyway I'm getting ahead myself, I'm going to start on Wednesday when it all got interesting, so Elder Redmond and I woke up at like five in the morning and drove and drove and drove and drove  until we got to Spanish Fork, where we picked up Elder Christiansen and dropped off Elder Redmond for his last day as a missionary. For the rest of the day me and Elder Christiansen got to know our new area, it was righteous.

Thursday we drove down to Moab for a baptism interview, we left at two and didn't get back until 9:08 at night it was crazy. But absolutely beautiful and definitely worth the trip and the miles.

On Friday we went around mostly getting to know the new investigators that we had in the price North stake, we talk to as many people as we could along the way including these two awesome girls that were sitting on the bridge. We found out they were both from Herriman but have decided to spend the week in price, with their dad. Neither of them were members, so we left them a brief message, and invited them to read the book of Mormon.

Saturday we had a baptism for a young man named B, who we've been teaching for about a month and a half. What happened was after we had taught him everything he decided he wasn't sure if he wanted to be baptized. So we invited him to an eight-year-old baptism that was happening that week before, he came and loved it. His parents have become active in the recent months, and feel that this is the very good path for them to be on. So we felt good about it and put him on date for 15 July.

Sunday we went to church in the Price North stake and got to know some of the ward mission leaders and the bishops, we're doing our best to gain their trust and help them grow and they are calling us as well.  Then we visited with the stake president and his family, and shared a message about missionary work..

Overall the week was very successful and busy, we have a lot of work left to do though, so stay tuned for more!

Also one thing I love, from the scriptures is how firm a foundation Alma the Younger had, after he had been through the refiners fire. It's quite remarkable.
The scriptures are true and I know it!
Love you all!

Love Elder Minson

Here's just a few Pics from throughout the week!
I love you everyone!!
